Get used to Times New Roman because it is my favorite font. If you dislike it, then I pity you.
Oh, hi! I am M.E. Glinz, an aspiring writer, avid reader, and amateur reviewer.
Recently I decided to read 31(+) books in 31 weeks during the mid-July to mid-February season in which I am not re-reading Harry Potter for the umpteenth time. I will always hold a special spot in my heart for Harry Potter, but I've recently been brought to the attention by myself that I can't really call myself an avid reader (like I just noted above) if I simply dust off one or two new books before digging right back into the magical world of Hogwarts annually.
So I sat down and wrote down every series I've been curious about (or have been pushed by my friends to read. Thanks, Lindsey) and every stand-alone, too. I came up with 29 new books and three I had yet to finish since I succumbed to either Harry Potter or one of them and got completely disinterested.
However, my first two reviews will be of books I read before this entire goal was made up: The Art of Fielding by Chad Harbach and The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart.
In case you, (and by you I mean my friends, Carrie, Abbey, Lindsey and Laurie, who probably didn't even get this far) care to read the books along with me, (although I can't promise I won't speed ahead) below I will provide a list of all the books I am going to be reading during these weeks.
Fair warning, I am at this point in time already on Water for Elephants, making me about a month ahead of schedule if I started the week of the 20th. Oh well.

I have tons of other books on my to-read list but these are the ones I am nailing down! Lots of Cassandra Clares and Eoin Colfers, but...I think I can do it!(?)
After I read each of these books, I will post an in-depth review as best as I can. There will be some sort of template for each book, but I'm too lazy to think of it now, so it'll be made up as I go when I write about The Art of Fielding.
Cherish yourselves.
M.E. Glinz
